A wonderful Family PA role has become available for an experienced person to look after the home of a friendly family of four: two full-time working parents and two happy girls aged 9 and 5. The family lives in Burnham, Buckinghamshire. Your role will be to keep this busy home running like clockwork and be responsible for childcare outside of school hours.
The hours will be Monday-Thursday, 06.30-18.30 (48 hours/week).
The family is active, enjoying being outdoors and all kinds of sport and music. The girls also like arts and crafts and baking. As well as engaging with the children in their hobbies and interests, working with the children to help with homework, encouraging good manners, behavior, and healthy eating will also be part of the childcare role. During term time, you will collect the youngest girl from school each day, prepare family meals, and oversee any homework. There are other arrangements in place for the eldest girl coming home from school later in the day.
In the school holidays, there will be a good mixture of clubs and activities, so that the children have a nice balance.
The girls are looking for an intelligent, proactive, and friendly person who will help keep them organized and entertained.
Although the family has a cleaner twice a week, while the girls are at school, the household duties are to include:
1. Tidying and organizing the home
2. Family laundry and ironing
3. Bed linen changing
4. Grocery shopping, keeping the fridge stocked
5. Family-friendly cooking (homemade as often as possible)
6. Managing household and school admin and errands
You should be a careful and confident driver, with a clean license, for school runs, activities, and household errands. You should have your own fully insured car, and duty mileage will be reimbursed.
The family is looking for someone who is self-motivated and would like to muck in and become part of the family. The candidate will be a warm, friendly, and honest person who is pleasant to have around.
