The Client
Our client- a unique destination restaurant and bar with six luxury hotel rooms - are currently seeking an experienced & enthusiastic Chef to join a team of talented chefs cooking milti rosette level standard food. Working closely alongside the kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for the preparation and service of menus where seasonal and local produce is at the heart of all they do.
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Chef who needs to have confidence working with fresh ingredients and the management of fresh produce. The right candidate will have the ability to communicate and work effectively with the entire team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assist in the daily running of service
* Assist Head Chef and fellow team with preparation for a la carte menu
* Ensure Food and Hygiene standards are adhered to at all times and maintain a five star food hygiene rating.
* Work with the head chef to develop breakfast menus, dishes and recipes
* Maintain a high standard of cuisine and presentation at all times
* Confidence in working with the freshest ingredients from established local suppliers.
* At least two years of kitchen experience is required.
* The ability to support and assist colleagues.
