The role is based in St Albans, offering the chance to work closely with experienced Partners on a variety of commercial property matters. The successful candidate will handle a diverse caseload, including freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals, financing and refinancing, landlord and tenant issues, development work, and leasehold management. Experience in leasehold enfranchisement, development, and financing would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
* Sound technical drafting of sale contracts, transfers, overage and options, licences, notices and agreements for leases, and associated complex completion statements and relevant calculations.
* Develop efficient systems to manage a busy caseload, ensuring key deadlines are met while keeping the supervisor fully appraised on matters.
* Maintain up-to-date electronic client files and work in a 'paper-light' environment.
* Maintain accurate and full live matter-related time records.
* Develop and protect client relationships while increasing professional credibility and encouraging new business.
