Our client is a smaller broker on a great growth trajectory, with 15 staff currently. They now have a genuinely exciting opportunity for someone to join their senior management team in a newly created role. This is an exciting and role that is key to their growth and continued success. Working closely with the Head of Commercial to:
Drive efficiency
Enhance systems
Ensure compliance
Identify operational risks and implement robust controls to mitigate them
Increase operational performance - review, develop, and streamline internal workflows to ensure best practices and operational excellence.
Lead projects with both short and long term goals
Support the team, although this is not a customer-facing role in itself
The business currently have 2 offices, and ideally they would need someone to be able to travel between the 2 and support on both sites.
To be considered you will need:
Experience within insurance and ideally within commercial insurance with strong knowledge of insurance compliance
Experience leading and managing a team
We are happy to consider someone moving away from a customer-facing role
Used to working in a fast-paced environment, to tight deadlines
Proven experience driving a customer-focused culture coaching team members to enhance performance and service levels
Able to make confident decisions quickly and solve problems.
Confident and influential communicator
Experience analysing data and MI reporting to drive decisions
In return, the salary on offer is circa £55,000 plus bonus.
