Our work schedule for the team includes process improvements and project delivery where we have a number of key infrastructure initiatives underway including a deployment of a new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system, Win11 deployment, Unified Communications, Legacy technology replacement.

• Providing strategic direction and solution design across all core technologies, specialising in Networking & Telecoms.
• Designing and implementing production environments to ensure alignment with trust growth plans and project initiatives.
• Strategic disaster recovery planning for all design aspects of technology infrastructure.
• Pro-actively review new and emerging technologies with its subsequent application according to the Trusts business requirements, where relevant, provide input into business cases.
• Undertaking research and development initiatives on a range of emerging technologies
• Keep abreast of industry developments.
• Carry out internal reviews of the technology enterprise and other available data to identify where investment is required to ensure strategic objectives are achieved.
• Ensure ICT Support and Operational Groups are aware of Networking & Telecoms technologies.
