We're looking for a Senior Social Marketing Manager to lead our Owned Social Media team – a strategic thinker, creative storyteller, and data-driven executor with a proven track record of launching high-profile, talkable campaigns. You're not just managing channels; you're building communities, igniting conversations, and driving tangible business results. * Expected salary - £53,000-£70,000 (dependent on experience).
* Contract type - This position is a Permanent contract.
* Working pattern/flexible working - The Partnership has adopted a hybrid working approach, meaning you'll be able to work a mixture between the office and home based upon your personal needs whilst balancing the needs of the business. The Social Media team aims for 2 days a week in the office to connect and on a more ad-hoc basis to attend key meetings. With occasional meetings in our London office when needed.
* Location - This role is based at our Bracknell Head Office.
Key responsibilities
* Own the owned social media channel roadmap, aligning it with overall business objectives, customer strategy, and brand vision.
* Lead the charge on high-profile tactical activity and key campaigns: Work with our agencies and internal teams to mastermind campaigns that capture attention, generate buzz, and leave a lasting impact.
* Master the art of storytelling: Craft compelling narratives that resonate with our target audience across various social media platforms.
* Data-driven decision making: Track, analyse, and optimise campaign performance using social media analytics tools.
* Community building and engagement: Foster authentic connections with our food-loving audience.
* Stay ahead of the curve: Keep your finger on the pulse of the ever-evolving social media landscape.
* Collaborate and inspire: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and campaign alignment.
* Lead and develop a high-performing team: Mentor, coach, and guide a team of social media specialists.
Essential skills/experience you’ll need
* 5+ years of experience in social media marketing, with a demonstrable track record of launching successful, high-profile campaigns.
* A passion for innovation and a knack for developing unique, attention-grabbing content.
* The ability to think strategically about social media's role in achieving business objectives.
* Proficiency in social media analytics tools and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Significant experience in managing and developing a team of social media professionals.
Desirable skills/experience you may have
* Experience in Grocery or FMCG social media.
* A deep understanding of how to build and engage online communities.
* Thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and comfortable with ambiguity.
* A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
