Educational Health Care Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educational Health Care Assistant to join our supportive learning environment in Skelmersdale.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support to students with physical, emotional, and learning needs.
* Assist with personal care, mobility, and ensuring the health and well-being of students.
* Collaborate with teachers and other staff to implement individualised care and learning plans.
* Help manage medical and health-related tasks, including administering medication under supervision and monitoring students' health.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience in a care, educational, or similar setting is highly desirable, although not essential.
* A passion for working with young people and supporting their development and well-being.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
* A caring and patient nature, with a commitment to providing the best possible support for students.
* A valid DBS check or the willingness to undergo one.
* Relevant qualifications in health and social care, or special educational needs (SEN) are advantageous but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
