Job Title: Adult Community Speech and Language Therapist Banding : Band 6 /7 Start date: ASAP Duration: 3months Location : Leeds Working Hours: Full time/Part Time Rate : £ 2 8 - £ 34 We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Adult Community Speech and Language Therapist to join our Speech and Swallowing Team in Leeds. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of adults with acquired conditions, providing essential speech and language therapy services in the community. Responsibilities: As an Adult Community Speech and Language Therapist, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of adults with acquired conditions, including dysphagia. You will conduct face-to-face assessments and therapy sessions in patients' homes or community clinics, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals and providing education and support to patients and their families are also key aspects of this role. Your ability to travel within the community, either by car or public transport, will be essential to effectively deliver these services. Qualifications and Experience: Degree in Speech and Language Therapy HCPC registration Experience working with an adult SLT caseload, particularly with acquired conditions Competence in managing dysphagia caseloads Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Car driver desirable, but not essential if able to travel by public transport Why work with Pulse?
