Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Generator Engineer / Generator Technician required to join a leading supplier of generators and critical power equipment.
The successful candidate shall carry out service and preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, testing, and repairs on various generators and associated electrical/mechanical critical power equipment.
Ideally, the candidate will have experience in preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, testing, and repairs on various generators and associated electrical/mechanical critical power equipment.

Responsibilities:
1. Carry out service and preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, testing, and repairs on various generators and associated electrical/mechanical critical power equipment.
2. Maintain and service critical power supply equipment and associated electrical equipment, mainly generators in a wide variety of commercial and industrial sites across the Southwest.
3. Carry out load bank testing, site surveys, inspections, fault finding, repairs, and testing of generator sets and associated generator equipment.
4. Projecting spares requirements for upcoming and planned works.
5. Liaise with various engineering departments.
6. Full product training provided.
7. Based near Runcorn and happy to cover surrounding areas.
Requirements:
1. Experience as a Generator Engineer, Generator Technician, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Power Generation Engineer, or similar.
2. Skilled in technical report writing with attention to detail.
3. A technical electrical/mechanical engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, degree or equivalent would be advantageous.
4. Full UK driving license.
5. Flexible for Overtime/part of the on-call rota.
6. Ability to obtain client clearances i.e: police, MOD.
