Location: Hybrid (remote working with occasional visits to offices in London/Edinburgh/Durham/Newcastle)

As a Procurement Specialist, you will manage procurement and contract activities across renewable energy projects in the UK and Irish markets. Reporting to the Procurement and Contracts Manager, you will work closely with development and construction teams, ensuring business requirements are met while delivering value and efficiency.
Develop and implement procurement plans, securing buy-in from internal stakeholders.
Identify, prequalify, and select suppliers for upcoming projects and initiatives.
Prepare and manage Requests for Quotation (RfQ), aligning supply chain opportunities with business needs.
Lead tender evaluations and contract negotiations (values from £50K to £200M).
Oversee contract management, including reporting, payments, variations, claims, and disputes.
Build strong relationships with suppliers, fostering a collaborative approach to contract management.
Stay informed on supply market developments to enhance competitive analysis and risk management strategies.

Proven experience in procurement, commercial management, or quantity surveying on large-scale projects.
utilities, oil & gas, renewables (preferable).
A track record of conducting successful tender negotiations and contract management.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to meet deadlines across complex projects.
Previous experience in renewable energy projects.
Degree in quantity surveying or a business-related discipline
