This field-based role involves the installation of telemetered instruments, supporting their Hydrometry and Telemetry (H&T) services.Key Responsibilities:
1. Securely acquire and transfer hydrometric data in a timely and accurate manner.
2. Prioritise health and safety for yourself, the team, and the public while supporting Hydrometry & Telemetry network management.
3. Calibrate monitoring equipment, measure channel flow, maintain sites, install monitoring equipment, and input data into the hydrometric archive (WISKI).
4. Follow the team’s work plan to meet objectives and Service Level Agreements, with flexibility for operational changes.
5. Assist in fault finding and repair of telemetry outstation equipment to minimise disruption to Flood Warning Service or Water Management sites.
6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers, contributing to environmental goals.
