About this role As the UK Merchandising Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and managing our digital storefront. From defining the core merchandising strategy to execution and continuous improvement, you will use data analysis and market insights to drive performance and make strategic recommendations. This role requires close collaboration with Global Product, Marketing, Analytics, and Commercial teams to innovate and optimize the commercial levers available to the UK business. Your work will be critical to our success, directly influencing conversion rates and overall business performanc e. These are some of the key ingredients to the role: Collaborate with the Head of Online Trading & Pricing and channel trading leads to execute the UK merchandising strategy across the Just Eat app and website. Ensure merchandising efforts align with trading plans, focusing on volume and value potential to drive business performance. Work closely with Product & Tech (P&T) to identify opportunities for improvement, enhancing merchandising capabilities to support the UK's Order Volume (OV) targets. Own and manage the weekly merchandising plan, ensuring it flows seamlessly from the overall trading strategy. Partner with the CRM team to ensure merchandising updates are effectively reflected in the app. Monitor and analyze competitor merchandising strategies, providing insights to inform UK Product & Tech (P&T) requirements. What will you bring to the table? Experience in online merchandising or eCommerce optimisation. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into commercial opportunities. Ability to think strategically while also focusing on the details, ensuring smooth execution of merchandising plans. Confident decision-maker, using data to drive impactful recommendations. Proactive and self-motivated, able to manage multiple projects and work independently. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas for different stakeholders.
