Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated complex care/ ITU experienced Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team working both days and nights. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to client care and demonstrate exceptional clinical skills. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare services, ensuring the well-being of our client who has a spinal injury. Please note that this role is working in the client's home within an all-female team on a 2:1 basis. Our client is currently in student accommodation and in the holidays does return to her family home in Norfolk which requires staff support.
Responsibilities
* Deliver patient care with compassion and professionalism, ensuring the comfort and safety of the client at all times.
* Administer medications as prescribed, monitoring patients for any adverse reactions or side effects.
* Providing tracheostomy and ventilation care.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols.
* Support the client with social activities.
* Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance and develop the team's skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
* Valid registration as a nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
* Proven experience in complex care/ITU.
* Strong knowledge of medication administration protocols and anatomy.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with client and team.
* A caring attitude towards patients, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality healthcare services.
