Job Purpose and Responsibilities

You will gain a broad exposure to various teams of the Operations department and upon successful completion of the apprenticeship program you may be offered a full-time position.
Duties
Various tasks across the breadth of the Operations Department, including but not limited to:
1. Account maintenance: Assist in the administration of accounts, including initial setup and ongoing maintenance of account information.
2. Trade processing: End to end trade processing covering listed derivatives traded on exchanges such as the London Metal Exchange (“LME”) and ICE Europe, as well as Over The Counter (“OTC”) transactions in various asset classes including but not limited to Commodities, Metals and Foreign Exchange (“FX”).
3. Reconciliations: Ensure our back-office system is in alignment with trades taking place throughout the day.
4. Client Services: Responding to various client requests including but not limited to, request for payment, statement queries and general ad-hoc queries, as well as management of margin calls.
5. Securities: Learn and understand the full lifecycle of a securities trade (equity, stocks and shares and fixed income, government bonds).
6. Regulatory Reporting: Develop knowledge in regulatory requirements, processes and systems for several transactions and position based regulatory reports.

Early Careers Requirements
1. A-levels or equivalent.
2. Basic IT skills including MS-Excel, Outlook is preferred but not essential or willingness to undertake MOS course(s).
3. Must be authorized to work in the UK for any employer.
