Project Engineer - 12-Month FTC

Salary: Up to £45k
Travel: UK & EU (around 40%)

We're looking for a Project Engineer to join a leading food manufacturing business on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Based in Scunthorpe, you'll take the lead on delivering key engineering projects across multiple UK sites. This role is ideal for someone who's hands-on, well-organised, and able to manage projects from start to finish. If you enjoy problem-solving, working with different teams, and making a real impact, this could be the role for you.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Managing engineering projects from planning to execution
2. Working with stakeholders to keep projects on track
3. Producing layout and general arrangement drawings using AutoCAD (3D skills required)
4. Ensuring projects comply with industry regulations
5. Travelling to UK and European sites (up to 40% of the time)

What We're Looking For

6. Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
7. Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
8. Previous experience in the food industry is a bonus
9. Full UK driving licence - essential

The Details

10. Monday to Friday, generally 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, but flexibility is required around production shifts
11. 12-month FTC, salary up to £45k
12. Regular travel across UK & European sites
