Type of Position: Financial Administrator - Ashford
Pay: £25k - £30k
Our client is looking for a Financial Services Administrator to join their team in Ashford.
Responsibilities:
1. Answering incoming calls and directing calls appropriately
2. Processing applications, letters of authority and requests for information
3. Managing the processing of all new business
4. Database completion of all new business
5. Production of portfolio reports and other client information as requested
6. Managing client appointments in the Financial Adviser’s diary, including travel arrangements where necessary
7. Receiving, scanning and allocating the incoming post
These duties will be supplemented by other responsibilities as your knowledge of financial services develops and your ability to take on more work grows. There is opportunity for formal development and internal progression within the company.
Required Skills and Attributes:
1. Three years’ experience of admin support in a Financial Services company is essential
2. Good understanding of ISAs, GIAs, and Pensions (both DB and DC)
3. Self-starter who is used to working under their own initiative
4. Methodical and works with attention to detail
5. Strong communicator in verbal and written form
6. Flexible and keen to assist others in the team
7. Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook
8. Experience of using Client Assyst or similar CRM system
