Working in and around the surrounding areas of Retford & Worksop. What would you be doing?
You will be visiting vulnerable adults in their own homes, helping them with everyday tasks so they can continue to live in the environment they love, which holds many cherished memories. When people can’t do what they used to for themselves, they can feel alone and isolated. This is where you come in to show support and empathy, ensuring they are not forgotten. You may be the only person the client sees throughout each day.
1. Supporting clients to learn new skills and regain their independence in their own home.
2. Helping with elements of personal care, including assisting in and out of bed and getting them ready for the day and night.
3. Ensuring and assisting with showering and dressing.
4. Preparing meals/snacks.
5. Keeping clients hydrated.
6. Domestic help with laundry or household cleaning.
7. Supporting with shopping.
8. Providing medication support.
9. Assisting with daily living activities and supporting the client in getting around.
10. Motivating clients to achieve the goals they have set out.
11. Being warm, reliable, and a companion they can rely on.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to £16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week

Education:
* GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

* Home care: 1 year (preferred)
