We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Art teacher to join an excellent school in Barnet. This is a full-time position starting in April, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and inclusive school environment. As an Art teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality art education to primary/secondary school students. Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging art lessons that are tailored to the needs and abilities of individual students Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that allows students to develop their creativity and confidence Assess and evaluate students' artwork and provide constructive feedback to support their progress and development Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate cross-curricular projects and activities Stay up to date with current trends and developments in art education, and implement innovative teaching strategies Maintain accurate records of students' progress and achievements Communicate effectively with parents/guardians, providing regular updates on students' performance and wellbeing Requirements Qualified teacher status (QTS), with a specialization in Art Education Proven experience teaching art at primary/secondary level Strong subject knowledge in art and design, including a range of techniques and mediums Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate students Creativity and enthusiasm for art education, with the ability to inspire a love of art in students Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to plan and deliver lessons effectively A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people Application To be considered for this Art Teacher position please forward a CV as soon as possible.
