This is an exciting opportunity to join the Financial Services department of a large acute Trust.
The post holder will be part of a small team providing an efficient customer focused payments service to the Trust. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to undertake various duties including data input, (scanning and registration) and dealing with queries from suppliers.
The successful applicants will ideally have experience of purchase ledger in a Healthcare environment (or similar) and is or would like to be working towards an accounting qualification. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential together with the ability to deal with people at all levels.
You will need to be able to work effectively on your own and as part of a team, and must be able to prioritise a busy workload to adhere to the challenging Department of Health deadlines. You will need to be organised and methodical, be proactive to improve processes and support the development of the team as well as being committed to your own personal development.
This is working within the Purchase Ledger team processing the Trust invoices ensuring adherence to Trust's policies and procedures and meeting key NHSE targets.
This is for a full time position based at Unit F, Hermitage Lane. This role will require being in the office 3 days a week and working from home 2 days.
