Excellent opportunity for an experienced Infrastructure Support Engineer with a strong background in SCCM and VMware to join our global clients' Infrastructure Team. You will use your expertise to manage enterprise-level IT systems while working with cutting-edge technologies.
About the Role
As a key player, you'll deliver 3rd-line operational support for backend IT systems. Your technical proficiency will ensure server environments, virtualisation platforms, and cloud solutions operate seamlessly.

Your Key Responsibilities:
1. SCCM Specialist: Manage and optimise SCCM for efficient deployment, updates, and endpoint management.
2. VMware: Administer and maintain VMware environments, ensuring peak performance and scalability.
3. Windows & Active Directory: Support and optimise Windows Server environments (2016-2022) and Microsoft Active Directory.
4. SAN Management: Oversee robust storage solutions like DellEMC, HPE, and vSAN.
5. Automation expertise: Develop and implement scripts and tools to streamline infrastructure processes (PowerShell, APIs).
6. Cloud Proficiency: Manage Azure, M365, and Entra ID, supporting cloud adoption and integration.
7. Security & Compliance: Ensure adherence to IT security protocols, change control processes, and industry best practices.
8. BAU: Patching Microsoft, managing the infrastructure that everything sits on - applications, MFA, monitoring across the estate - PRTG, SolarWinds.
What You'll Bring:
1. Strong track record of 3rd Line Support.
2. Extensive experience with SCCM for deployment and systems management.
3. Advanced skills in VMware virtualisation technologies.
4. Experience in Windows Server, Microsoft Back Office products, and clustering technologies.
5. Scripting expertise, particularly in PowerShell for automation and maintenance.
6. Familiarity with SAN storage and cloud-based systems.
7. A deep understanding of ITIL processes, incident resolution, and agile methodologies.
Desirable Skills:
1. Experience with additional automation tools like Python, IaC.
2. Familiarity with monitoring solutions like SolarWinds or PRTG.
3. Knowledge of security frameworks, disaster recovery planning, and vulnerability management.
