RPS Group has an exciting opportunity for a Project Co-ordinator / Assistant Project Manager to join our Grangemouth Operations Team, looking after projects related to Wastewater networks. This role is predominately an office-based role from our Grangemouth depot, although hybrid working will be considered. The role will be assisting the Project Management team to quality projects on time and safely. What you'll be doing As a Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with project managers, team members, and stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met, resources are efficiently allocated, pre-site constraints are met, onsite equipment requirements are monitored and forecasted accurately, whilst also ensuring project objectives are achieved. You will be fully responsible for ensuring all logistical constraints are met in line with the field delivery programme timescales, as well as ensuring all field teams have the correct RAMS for each project. Furthermore, you will assist with planning the weekly whereabouts of the field-based staff.,
* Assist senior members of the project teams with resource allocation planning.
* Daily management of the field delivery programme to ensure all constraints are met as per the specific timeframes to ensure the field work can be delivered to programme.
* Review progress of site teams daily for each project and escalate any delivery issues to the project team and update the planning team.
* Daily client reporting in line with contract requirements.
* Assist in conducting project reviews.
* Track project spend against budgets where requested by the project team.
* Organise project meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes.
* Maintain project documentation and ensure all records are up-to-date.
* Monitor project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
* Identify and escalate issues and risks to the project team.
* Track resource availability and update schedules accordingly.
* Support in developing proposals.
* Support the implementation of IMS quality control processes.
Proven experience in project coordination or a similar role.
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Experience with budgeting and financial reporting.
* Previous experience within the water industry would be advantageous but not essential.
