We are delighted to be partnering with a leading professional services firm seeking a dynamic Head of Pursuits to lead their strategic development and drive business growth. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and shape the firm's approach to winning new business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Leadership: Develop and lead the firm's approach to pursuing and onboarding new business, increasing win rates and revenue by enhancing fee earners' contributions.
* Team Management: Lead a high-performing Pursuits and Content team, fostering innovation and best practices.
* Tender Management: Deliver strategic tenders with guidance and hands-on drafting, ensuring effective resource alignment and support.
* Content and Feedback: Implement and sponsor a marketing content repository, ensure meaningful tender feedback, and continuously refine the firm's approach.
* Infrastructure and Reporting: Create and update infrastructure for efficient proposal delivery, report on pursuit Management Information, and drive change.
* Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitors and ensure compelling differentiation.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Act as an ambassador for the pursuits and marketing team, engaging with senior stakeholders to develop a strong internal brand.
Requirements:
* Proven track record of successfully developing and leading high-performing teams.
* Excellent understanding of Pursuits and Business Development strategy with a well-developed network within the professional services sector.
* Confidence and competence in leading the Pursuits and Content teams, providing direction and support on the development and delivery of Pursuit activities that increase win chances and revenue.
* Strong leadership, stakeholder management, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
* Experience in developing and delivering pursuit best practices and marketing team colleagues.
