Job Opportunity: SENCO at a Special School near Taunton
We are working on behalf of a fantastic special school located just outside of Taunton, seeking a SENCO to join their team. Ideally, they are looking for someone to start as soon as possible, but they are willing to wait for the right candidate.
The school caters to students aged 7-19 with a range of special needs, primarily focusing on Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs and ASD.
The Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for assessing, planning, and monitoring the progress of students. Candidates should be excellent listeners, proactive, and naturally confident.
Experience working in special schools is preferred, as well as possession of the necessary SENCO qualification. However, the school is open to a range of applications. This role does not involve teaching but focuses on pastoral support.
