Role Specification: Oversee and supervise the daily activities of the public area cleaners, linen porters, and room attendants to ensure efficient operations and high standards of cleanliness. Maintain high cleanliness standards in both public areas and guest rooms, ensuring every area meets the company's quality expectations. Conduct regular public area and room inspections to identify areas for improvement. Report maintenance issues promptly via Snapfix to ensure timely resolution. Assist with the training and induction of new housekeeping team members, ensuring they understand their roles, standards, and safety protocols. Collaborate with the Reception team to address guest requests, room changes, or VIP needs, ensuring seamless communication and satisfaction. Perform regular audits of public areas and rooms, recording the condition of equipment and ensuring all appliances are fully functional. Complete stock takes of housekeeping supplies and materials, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained. Ensure all paperwork related to stock and equipment is handed over to management in a timely manner. Promptly report any maintenance issues, accidents, or hazards in the work environment to ensure safety and compliance with health and safety regulations. Person Specification: Essentials Demonstrable experience in housekeeping within a similar environment, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail. Experience in a supervisory or managerial role, overseeing a team and ensuring operational efficiency. Friendly, approachable, and dedicated to delivering excellent service with a strong work ethic. Ability to give clear instructions, address issues efficiently, and communicate effectively with team members and other departments. Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
