We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed part-time Band 2 Administrative Assistant to be based at Gemini House in Kidderminster junction 5/6 of M5.
If you are looking for a role where you can use your skills to make a difference, then come and join our team, where nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Health Care Assistants, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Nursing Associates, and Administrators work together in our local Neighbourhood and alongside our GP partners to support people in their home environment.

Main duties of the job
1. Undertake administration duties that are specific to the role.
2. Provide administrative support as required, e.g., typing, data inputting, filing, scanning/copying, and telefaxing, in line with Trust Policies and Procedures.
3. Answer/deal with both face-to-face and telephone enquiries.
4. Deal with incoming and outgoing post.
5. Undertake reception duties, if and when required, to cover for staff absences.
6. Liaise and interact with service users and colleagues, as and when required.
7. Facilitate the smooth running of clinics/appointments, ensuring that clinical/non-clinical records are obtained and retrieved, as required.

Job responsibilities

Person Specification
Experience
* Recent, relevant experience in an Administrative/Secretarial/Reception Role.
Skills and Abilities
* Standard IT skills; these will be tested at interview.
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English in both verbal and written formats.
Additional Criteria
* Ability to meet the travel requirements of the role.
* Good level of literacy and numeracy.
* You understand that we will not provide sponsorship to work for this role.
Qualifications
* Educated to academic Level 2 (e.g., GCSE Grade A-C, NVQ2, OCR/RSA2, City and Guilds 2) in a Business Administration-related subject.
* Or considerable recent NHS administrative experience and will be expected to undertake the relevant level 2 qualification on appointment to post.
* I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer.
Knowledge
* Knowledge of office procedures.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook.
* Understanding of the Data Protection Act and NHS Code of Confidentiality.
