Area Sales Manager – Door and Window Hardware and Ironmongery\n\nJob Title: Business Development Manager – Door and Window Hardware and Ironmongery\n\nIndustry Sector: Composite Door Manufactures, Door & Window Manufacturers, Steel Windows and Doors, Aluminium Window and Doors, Door and Window Fabricators, Distributors, Architectural Ironmongery, Door Hardware, Panic Hardware, Security solutions, Doors, Washrooms, Door Handles, Security Handles\n\nArea to be covered: North (Birmingham to Leeds)\n\nRemuneration: £50,000-£60,000 + Group Bonus (up to £10,000)\n\nBenefits: Hybrid German Company Car and Full benefits\n\nThe role of the Area Sales Manager – Door and Window Hardware and Ironmongery will involve:\n\n * Field sales role selling a manufactured range of high end door and window hardware and architectural ironmongery\n\n * Selling (high volume) directly to window and door manufacturers and fabricators (all materials; composite, aluminium steel etc.)\n\n * Remainder of time (low volume) selling to window and door hardware distributors\n\n * Looking after circa 20 volume manufacturers and 25-30 window and door hardware distributors (VBH, Carl F Group, Selco etc.)\n\n * Predominantly a new business role, breaking into new window and door manufacturers and fabricators\n\n * Smaller amount of time expanding and increasing product spend from existing accounts\n\n * Growing the area from £750,000 to £1m+\n\n * \n\nThe ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Door and Window Hardware and Ironmongery with:\n\n * Must have sold into window and door manufacturers or fabricators\n\n * New business hunter (this is not a milk round)\n\n * Ambitious, half the sales team will be retiring over the next 4-5 years\n\n * Demonstrable track record of field sales\n\n * Knowledge of; architectural ironmongery, window and door hardware, panic hardware, security hardware or doorsets preferred\n\n * Capable of managing and expanding existing accounts\n\n * Team player, likable character able to deal with all levels of responsibility\n\n * Intelligent and good empathy\n\nThe Company:\n\n * 50+UK employees\n\n * Part of a larger European group\n\n * Circa £20m UK turnover\n\nMitchell Maguire is a specialist Construction Field Sales Recruitment Consultancy, dealing exclusively with Construction Field Sales Jobs, Construction field sales vacancies and Specification field sales positions within: Composite Door Manufactures, Door & Window Manufacturers, Steel Windows and Doors, Aluminium Window and Doors, Door and Window Fabricators, Distributors, Architectural Ironmongery, Door Hardware, Panic Hardware, Security solutions, Doors, Washrooms, Door Handles, Security Handles
