Job summary We are looking for an enthusiastic receptionist to join our friendly and supportive team. Ideally, we'd like someone with experience (but not essential) who is looking for a long-term position. You will also need to possess a high level of organisational skills, have excellent communication skills with a good team spirit. Main duties of the job The position is for 30 hours per week, 5 days. This is based on a 6 hour day between the hours of 08:00-18:30. Working hours can vary, depending on the needs of the practice during sickness and annual leave. Flexibility is essential. Duties include: Covering reception desk, answering telephone calls, booking appointments, dealing with patient queries, ordering prescriptions, processing admin duties for clinical staff, general administration such as filing and liaising with other health care providers in a professional manner, and processing clinical letters and emails.
