Design Consultant – Hospitality Design & Build
Location: Manchester, Liverpool, Chester, Bolton, Blackburn, Preston, Warrington, St Helens.
Package: £35,000 - £45,000, Travel Expenses, Pension, Laptop, Phone, Plus other Company benefits.
Hybrid Role:Office Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Working from Home Thursday and Friday

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Design Consultant to join an established team of specialists. Working closely with the commercial design team, the role offers a balance between creative exploration and technical delivery. You’ll manage projects from feasibility through to completion, ensuring layouts and designs meet client requirements while adhering to regulations and operational best practices.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting on-site measured surveys and feasibility studies.
* Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to develop approved layouts.
* Producing detailed installation packages, including plans, elevations, and service schedules.
* Liaising with third-party consultants, suppliers, and in-house delivery teams.
* Ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and meet all regulatory requirements.
The Person
We’re looking for a commercially astute designer with a passion for creating well-considered commercial catering environments. You’ll need to be a skilled communicator and technically proficient, with a proven ability to manage projects from concept to completion.
Essential experience and skills:
* Strong knowledge of catering equipment and commercial kitchen operations.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (not Essential), and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Experience in producing technical drawings and installation packages.
* Knowledge of building regulations, EHO, and food standards for catering design.
* Understanding of the design and build fit-out process within hospitality.
