Job Title - Creative Project Manager/ Producer (Live Experiences & Attractions)
Salary - £35,000
Location - Bristol - 3 days per week in office
Reporting to - Head of Attractions & Live Experiences
Role Summary - A key role sitting at the centre of Attractions & Live Experiences. Essential to managing and driving new business opportunities for Live Events & Attractions and in developing and increasing my client's experiential retail partnerships. To provide all aspects of Attractions & Live Experiences project management.
Responsibilities:
• To research and produce market intelligence reports that target trends and new business development opportunities for Attractions and Live Experience, including opportunities to drive additional licensed product sales within these spaces and further extend our brands into new areas.
• To create and deliver new business opportunities, to include producing pitch presentations, budgets, and schedules for prospective Attraction & Live Experiences licensing partners.
• To seek and manage external partners to curate and operate experiential live events. To manage creative approvals/concept/script and visualisation of each project. Ensure all key creative personnel involved have sign off.
• To seek and manage all aspects of temporary exhibition opportunities in liaison with the archive, brand and marketing teams and support the Head of Attractions & Live Experiences in delivering long term, large scale touring exhibitions.
• To work with Attraction & Live Experience partners and International Agents to drive experiential retail opportunities that both supports new & existing licensing partners as well as drives new bespoke product opportunities in collaboration with the Licensing Team.
• To develop, license and manage the delivery of Digital Entertainment Experiences, including Corporate Awayday events & Live Workshops, including recruiting and managing crew resource.
• To build & manage relationships with external parties, e.g. Agents, Production Partners, Event Production companies to maximise new business opportunities for themed events, attractions & consumer product programmes aligned with the Studio’s content distribution strategy.
• To prepare, monitor and control individual project budgets covering all resources people, contracts, materials, equipment, facilities, and time) and to manage these budgets in liaison with the Head of Department.
• To create communicate & manage design briefs on budget & schedule in collaboration with relevant licensing partners and internal stakeholders.
• To work with the Business Affairs team to manage all aspects of the contracting process between internal and external project teams.
• To provide admin and asset / resource support to the A&LE team as required.
• To work with the Marketing, PR & Community Manager Teams to promote all events, attractions & exhibitions and ensure brand approval for third party activities.
• To liaise closely with all areas of the business including, Business Affairs, Finance, Technical, Craft and Support areas (e.g. Edit, Model-making, Archive, Facilities, Production and Production Technology) to ensure the smooth running of projects.
• To arrange travel, accommodation and subsistence for event production, installation & de-rig teams and other key crew as required.
• To observe the provision of the Health and Safety at Work Act.
Experience/Skills:
At least 3-5 years’ experience of working in a Project Management role or in a similar industry specific role, which involves developing new business opportunities, branded event management and marketing (Ideally a combination of both)
• Excellent administrative and organisational skills, along with a high level of attention to detail is required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills are essential.
• Proven experience of budgeting setting, monitoring, and management
• Proven experience in effective meeting management, including recording and managing actions both internally and externally • Intuitive and enthusiastic approach to problem solving.
• Proven experience of negotiation, analytical and reporting skill
• Experience of maintaining systems & a good knowledge and experience of using database
• The ability to work to a brief & to understand departmental and company objectives.
• Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
• Pro-active, flexible & team-based approach to work
• IT proficient – Microsoft Office (Essential) & Photoshop (Desired). (Maconomy Training can be given)
• Ability to cope under pressure
Bonus Experience/Skills:
An understanding of contractual processes
• An understanding of crew booking processes
