GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join a nurturing school in Wimborne. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with students who require extra support, fostering their growth both academically and personally. Responsibilities: As a SEN TA, your role will include: Supporting students with SEN in their daily learning activities. Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons. Providing one-on-one or small group support to help students overcome challenges. Creating a positive and inclusive environment where students feel safe and encouraged. Assisting with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Monitoring and reporting on student progress to teachers and parents. Supporting students’ social and emotional well-being. Requirements: As a SEN TA, you should have: Previous experience working with students with SEN or in a similar support role (preferred). A good understanding of different learning needs and strategies for support. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to working with children.
