The children's unit at Macclesfield District General Hospital includes a 16 bedded unit for both medical and surgical patients, and a 5 bedded observation and assessment unit. We also have a Children's out-patients and Specialist Nurses for Diabetes, Epilepsy, Asthma, Allergy, Eczema and Research. We have a dedicated team of Children's Community Nurses to facilitate health care for children in their own home.
