Your new company
We are seeking a full-time Year 6 Teacher for a warm and inclusive primary school in the Prenton area of the Wirral. The post is for the 2024/25 academic year starting in September 2024. Candidates must have previous experience of teaching key stage 2 classes, including ideally upper KS2 classes, with ECTs who have taught in Year 5 or 6, and ideally completed part of their induction, also considered.
Your new role
As a Year 6 Teacher in the school, you will have full teaching responsibility, including planning and delivering high-quality, creative, and engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners and follow the national curriculum. You will also be expected to assess and monitor pupil progress, provide feedback and support, and work collaboratively with other staff and parents. You will have the opportunity to be involved in extracurricular activities.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* An enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
* Evidence of continuing professional development
* Excellent subject knowledge and pedagogical skills
* Experience of teaching upper key stage 2 classes
* A positive and enthusiastic attitude
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
