You will work closely with the Technical Team Leader and other technical staff to manage and support specialist software (e.g., Unity, Unreal), hardware, and computer labs, as well as conduct workshops and provide technical assistance to students and staff. Your role will support both new and existing courses across various disciplines.You will guide students and staff in using game development tools, contributing to the enhancement of their projects and learning experiences. Whether working with a fashion student on a virtual runway or collaborating on a virtual production with film and lighting technicians, your expertise will be vital. You will ensure our facilities operate smoothly and safely, fostering a collaborative and interdisciplinary environment.You are an experienced technician with a degree in Games Design, Creative Computing or a related field. You possess strong programming skills in languages such as C/C++, Java and JavaScript. Your background includes training users, maintaining safety standards, and working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
