Your new role
As the Cybersecurity Manager, you will be responsible to lead the organisation's cybersecurity programme. You will develop and implement efficient security strategies to safeguard your organisation's data and assets. A key part of your role is stakeholder management and will see you report on the cybersecurity programme to the team at all levels. You will have excellent leadership skills and a commitment to maintaining a secure work environment.
What you'll need to succeed
1. You will either hold a recognised IT information security generalised qualification such as Security+, CISM, or CISSP, CASP+ or have 5+ years of relevant experience in a cybersecurity role.
2. Knowledge of cybersecurity management certifications and frameworks such as Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 27001.
3. An understanding of products and services in the cybersecurity marketplace and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
4. Participate in the change management process, ensuring that security implications are fully considered.
5. Understands and interacts with related disciplines, either directly or through committees, to ensure the consistent application of policies and standards across all technology projects, systems, and services, including privacy, risk management, compliance, and business continuity management.
6. Identify, assess, and categorise threats, vulnerabilities, and risks to the organisation. Collaborate with key stakeholders and the Digital Services team to implement and develop counteractive strategies.
7. Ensure compliance across the organisation by reviewing and managing security devices, systems, and platforms, including endpoint security and firewalls.
8. Review, administer and monitor Identity and Access Management systems including Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID services in Microsoft Azure/365, including access rights information systems, services, devices, and data.
9. Acting as cybersecurity leader in large scale IT and business projects.
