Our federation is looking for a part-time (Mon to Wed) inspiring class teacher for our Puller Memorial Primary School. This will initially be a fixed-term contract with a view to making it permanent in September. This will be for a delightful Year 1/2 class of less than 15 pupils. We are looking for someone who has a passion for teaching, is enthusiastic, energetic, and works well in a team. You will be working within a very small team, so a sense of humour is a must, as is the ability to be flexible! Knowledge and experience of the National Curriculum and Therapeutic Thinking (Steps) are essential.
Puller Memorial Primary School is part of a formal federation of two small village schools. It is also part of a wider network of twelve local schools. We offer our team the chance to undertake national professional qualifications and give colleagues the opportunity to plan, prepare, and assess work with teachers at our sister school. We also give you the chance to work with highly experienced support staff and the chance to manage a mixed-age setting.
Interested? Please arrange a phone call or tour of the school and meet with our Executive Head Teacher, Mrs Amanda Hopwood, by emailing head@albury.herts.sch.uk.
The Governing Body is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and expects all staff to share this commitment. Our recruitment process is subject to pre-employment checks: 1) an enhanced DBS check, 2) satisfactory references, and 3) social media checks.
