We're hiring a Supply Chain Manager for a tech start-up based in London, with hybrid working.
This is a newly created role, working closely with the Head of Operations, with a broad generalist remit.
Within a few years this company has built a strong customer base (within the FMCG space), and are now setting their sights on series A funding later in the year.
This role will be crucial to supporting the company's growth and developing the service they offer their customers.
Responsibilities
* Sourcing, selecting, and negotiating favourable terms with suppliers, including pricing, payment conditions, and delivery agreements.
* Staying informed on market trends, industry developments, and price fluctuations to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
* Monitoring supplier performance (e.g., OTIF delivery, quality standards) and proactively addressing any issues.
* Managing the end-to-end order process, ensuring timely fulfilment and resolving any logistical challenges.
* Working with internal teams to develop campaigns showcasing new categories, product benefits, and pricing advantages
Applicants should have:
* 2-4 years experience within procurement/supply chain/operations, ideally within FMCG
* Experience working in, or desire to work in a start-up environment
* Strong academics and analytical skills
* A get stuff done attitude
The successful candidate can expect a salary of up to £45,000 plus a share scheme.
