Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled PA/Project Support Officer to join our team within the Rehab and High Support (RHS) Care Hub.
What will you be doing?
As a PA/Project Support Officer, you'll play a key role in the development and successful delivery of strategic programmes within the RHS Care Hub, supporting the Senior Leadership Team.
Your responsibilities will be diverse and impactful, including:
* Offering high-level, confidential PA support to the Senior Leadership Team.
* Managing complex diaries, scheduling meetings, and ensuring smooth office operations.
* Handling reports, absence tracking, training compliance, and more.
* Supporting the planning, monitoring, and delivery of a range of projects.
* Ensuring high standards of documentation, risk management, and reporting.
* Coordinating meetings, workshops, and events with internal and external stakeholders.
* Managing administration staff, delegating tasks and ensuring efficient workflow.
* Assisting in recruitment processes and providing support for staff development.

Person specification
Qualifications
* Educated to NVQ 4 level or equivalent level of qualification or significant equivalent previous proven experience.
* Advanced skills in working with Microsoft Office and patient Information systems.
* Evidence of willingness to undertake further personal development.
Experience
* Experience with working within RHS on service improvement and transformation programmes.
* Experience of working within the NHS, or other public body, in administration and/or project support.
* Experience of formal meeting administration including Executive Director level, multiagency meetings.
* Experience of monitoring budgets, raising electronic orders and invoices, including booking travel arrangements.
* Experience of working on performance and information systems and the ability to extract and present data in a meaningful way.
* Experience of undertaking personal assistant responsibilities including using delegated powers on electronic systems.
* Experience of line management within NHS or other public body.
* Experience of establishing administrative systems and co-ordinating processes across a broad range of stakeholders.
* Experience of processing, analysing and presenting information.

What happens after your application has been received?

What happens if I am offered the position after interview?
The hiring manager will make contact with you to verbally offer you the position. The hiring manager will then inform Recruitment of the decision and provide relevant paperwork. You will be sent a formal conditional offer via email.
What pre-employment checks will I need to complete?
By conducting pre-employment checks, the recruitment team will verify that you meet the pre-conditions of the role you have been offered. Pre-employment checks will be carried out according to NHS Employment Check Standards. The checks are:
* Identity verification.
* Right to work check.
* Disclosure and barring service (DBS)/Criminal record check (dependent on role).
* Professional registration and/or qualification check.
* Occupational health assessment.
* Employment history and reference validation.
All applicants external to NHS will be required to provide HMRC employment history to cover the most recent three years. This information will be used to validate employment history and references as part of pre-employment checks.
If you are offered a position with us and you require sponsorship to support your right to work, we will review your eligibility in line with government guidance. What happens when pre-employment checks are complete?
Recruitment will liaise with you and the hiring manager to arrange a start date for your new position. You will then be booked onto a Trust Welcome Session and be sent your Pennine Care NHS Terms and Conditions.
