Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Facilities Team conducts facilities and property administration, office planning, corporate leasing and/or real estate coordination. They work closely and provide advice and counsel to company and/or vendor representatives coordinating major facility constructions or modifications or leasing and real estate activities.
Your responsibilities
As a Facilities Specialist at TE Connectivity Swindon, reporting to the Facilities Manager, you must be a strong multitasker. You will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of Facility Management tasks are allocated, completed, and updated on our system, related to the performance of the facilities services delivered on-site.
Responsibilities
• Effectively oversee the Residential Contracting team to ensure that exemplary facilities services are provided at site
• Oversight/Audit of all services on site with a strong emphasis on technical/maintenance service delivery
• Monitor the Contractor’s Maximo system to ensure Planned Preventive Maintenance activity is completed to Metric Goals, provide quality assurance through monthly audits as well as periodic process and standard work reviews
• Review Daily Emergency Report, ensure on-time response is being met, review weekly PM Report, verify completion time on target, act if necessary, review weekly open jobs report and address as needed
• Actively enforce relevant statutory, company and site EH&S compliance together with the monitoring of related equipment
• Perform PM Audits to ensure quality control, perform 5S+1 Audits to ensure compliance, perform EHS Audits for safety compliance (BBS, LOTO, Safety, Arc-Flash)
• Maintain strong internal customer relationships
• Ensure outsourced providers deliver Facility Services to the agreed standards in accordance with the Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators specified in our Contracts
• Responsible for all day-to-day aspects relating to the coordination and maintenance of the service requirements
• Motivate and lead performance within their roles to a high standard and in alignment to TE’s policies and procedures
What your background should look like:
• EH&S Qualification – IOSH or similar
• + 2 years' experience in Facilities Management
• Experience of having operated successfully within an outsourced integrated facilities management environment
• Strong understanding of outsourced contracts
• Experienced in using Microsoft Office
• People management experience
• Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative within a team environment
