We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Digital Communications Officer to play a key role in developing our digital presence and engaging with both internal and external audiences through various digital channels.
About Concept Housing Association (CHA)
CHA is at the beginning of its digital communications journey; therefore, the Digital Communications Officer will help develop and nurture our digital channels, using co-creation techniques, together with technical knowledge and expertise.
Key Responsibilities
1. Create accurate, appealing, timely, and consistent copy and digital media across our website, social media, and newsletters, reflecting CHA's values and mission.
2. Lead an exciting project to implement a new staff intranet, including running workshops, setting up editing groups, and utilizing content management systems for a smooth rollout.
3. Create digital content for CHA’s LinkedIn channel, including engaging copy, photography, and social media skills to enhance online engagement.
4. Use insight to expand our digital footprint, demonstrating creativity and strategic thinking.
About You
* Ability to understand user journeys and map these for intranet and website development.
* Experience in drafting digital content for internal and external use, with a strong understanding of digital best practices.
* Proficiency with graphic design packages to create visually appealing content.
* Good knowledge of email service providers like Mailchimp for designing and sending marketing emails.
* Strong interpersonal and team-working skills, with clear and concise communication.
* Experience in crisis communication and managing digital communications during crises.
* Project management experience, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Membership of a relevant professional body is desirable but not essential.
* Understanding of the housing sector or experience within local authorities, charities, or the voluntary sector is advantageous.
