Managing a team of specialist nurses whilst managing your own case load, you will be motivated, forward thinking and able to plan and prioritize care for patients with complex health care needs. Naturally, you will need to be flexible, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team based within the Community at Shrewsbury Road Healthcare Centre.
Main duties of the job
The team provides Nurse Led clinics and a range of services to patients referred into them from GP’s and Hospital teams, including, Contact tracing, DOT & TB screening. You will also work alongside a team of Respiratory Consultants and in Conjunction with other Nurse Specialists who may be based at different locations.

1. First Level Registered Nurse
2. Diploma/First Level Degree
3. Post Graduate degree or willingness to undertake/equivalent experience
4. Teaching/Mentoring course
Desirable criteria
5. Nurse prescriber/Assessment and history taking qualification
6. Specialist TB nursing course

7. Previous experience of working within TB related services at Band 6
8. Extensive post graduate experience of working with vulnerable adults or children, i.e homelessness, substance misuse, mental health
9. Multi professional working
10. Experience of working within an ethnically diverse community
11. Experience of staff line management at Band 6
