As a Global Consumer Market Insight Specialist you will play a crucial role in driving consumer centricity across Bolton Food, delivering accurate and actionable insights to inform business decisions, focusing on both quantitative and qualitative research.
How your agenda looks like:
This role combines strong analytical capabilities with a deep understanding of consumer behavior, motivations and market trends and it requires a balance of data crunching with the ability to connect data to real-world consumer contexts and opportunities.
* Consumer & Market Analysis: Analyze consumer and retail data to monitor performance and identify opportunities. Investigate drivers behind consumer behaviors and trends to provide actionable insights.
* Research Management: Lead quantitative and qualitative ad-hoc research projects from briefing to final recommendations. Work with research agencies to implement the appropriate methods and ensure high-quality data collection and interpretation.
* Data Interpretation & Reporting: Deliver routine and ad-hoc presentations that synthesize data into meaningful insights. Produce market intelligence reports and actionable recommendations that align with business objectives.
* Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders: Work closely with Global and Local Marketing Teams, R&D, and external agencies to ensure alignment on research objectives and outcomes. Share insights effectively across teams to drive decision-making.
* Trend Analysis: Link social and consumption trends with market dynamics to provide a deeper understanding of consumer behavior and its impact on the business.
* Dashboards & Tools: Use platforms like Nielsen, IRI, and Europanel to analyze and track panel data, producing dashboards that inform strategic decisions.
Your team:
This position reports directly to the Global Consumer Market Insight Manager of Bolton Food. There are no direct reports for this role but you will work closely with different departments, especially with the Global and Local Marketing Teams and R&D.
How you look like:
Experience: 4/5 years of experience in quantitative research, either within research agencies or in the CMI department of FMCG companies. Experience in consumer research is required, with shopper research as a plus.
Skills: Strong understanding of quantitative research methodologies and experience working with research agencies throughout the process.
* Familiarity with qualitative research methods;
* Expertise in working with panel data platforms (Nielsen, IRI, Europanel), including the creation of dashboards and insightful market analysis.
* Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills to create compelling presentations and actionable insights.
* Knowledge of the US market is highly relevant, with experience in the food industry seen as an advantage.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* A strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and is open to sharing knowledge and insights with colleagues.
* A genuine passion for consumer and market insights, with a continuous improvement mindset.
* Languages: Fluent in Italian and good knowledge of English.
