The ideal candidate will have a strong background in primary care and experience managing a General Practice treatment room, but we are also open to providing training.
In this role, you will perform various clinical tasks, such as wound care, vaccination administration, chronic disease management, and health assessments. You will have the chance to lead initiatives to improve patient experiences and mentor junior staff while collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

* Adult vaccinations eg. Flu, Pneumococcal, Shingles and COVID
* Assisting GPs with minor surgery and coil fittings

Job responsibilities
* To deliver nursing care and treatment in participation with general practitioner or independently, within agreed protocols including running clinics
* Carry out immunisations and smears (with training)
* Responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care with supervision
* To collaborate across all multi-agencies for the benefit of patients
* Maintain stock control
* Maintain accurate patient records and statistics
* Plan and organise straightforward activities.
* Carry out immunisations
* Ear care, including syringing using propulse, as per protocol
* Carry out smears (after formalised training programme)
* Carry out travel advise and immunisations
* Assess, implement and evaluate wound management
* New Patient checks/health assessments
* Assist in Minor Operations
* To be computer literate
Training
Extra training will be provided before new duties will be undertaken.

* A competent, qualified registered nurse
* Computer knowledge essential

* Certified in Cytology
* Certified in Immunization for both adults and children
* Proficient in Wound Care and Doppler Assessments
* Qualified in Chronic Disease Management, with accreditation in Asthma, COPD, and/or Diabetes courses
