We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team in Barnoldswick. You will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day care, development, and well-being of children and young people. Contract: Permanent, Full-Time Hours: Approximately 168 hours per month (38.8 hours per week equivalent) Salary: £12.50 per hour (unqualified), rising to £13.00 per hour (qualified) Sleep-In Rate: £50 per night Benefits: Holidays 217.50 hours per year(inclusive of bank holidays), career progression opportunities, NVQ training provided at no cost, and additional benefits. Support Worker Key Responsibilities: Provide consistent and compassionate care, fostering a secure and supportive environment for young people. Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and household duties. Support young people in developing social, emotional, and life skills. Participate in outdoor therapeutic activities aimed at promoting personal growth and healing. Contribute to care plans, risk assessments, and regular reviews for young people. Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all individuals in the home, including administering medications and promoting good health practices. Maintain accurate records and reports in line with company policies and procedures. Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Care or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential; full training is provided at no cost to the employee. Previous experience in residential child care is desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Training and Development: Participation in NVQ training is required, with full support provided. Ongoing professional development training will be offered, with an expectation to dedicate some personal time to study.
