Job Title: Band 5/6 Locum Physiotherapist Banding: Band 5/6 Location: Leeds Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday Rate: £24.00 - £27.00 Opening Paragraph: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Band 5/6 Locum Physiotherapist to join our team in Leeds. This role focuses on providing high-quality physiotherapy services primarily within the community, specifically for older adults. We are particularly looking for candidates based in the West of Leeds to meet our service demands, with funding secured until at least the end of March. Responsibilities: You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for older patients, focusing on falls assessment and managing frailty. You will work with limited supervision, so the ability to operate independently following your induction is crucial. Your role will involve managing a predominantly waiting list caseload, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and continuity of services. Additionally, you will provide support and advice to patients and their families, promoting independence and recovery within the community. Qualifications and Experience: Relevant degree in Physiotherapy HCPC registration Minimum of three years of post-qualification experience Expertise in community physiotherapy for older adults Experience in falls assessment and managing frailty Strong communication skills Commitment to patient-centered care Valid driver’s license for community travel Why work with Pulse?
