What skills and experience we're looking for
The Headteacher and Governors seek to appoint a dynamic, motivated, resourceful and enthusiastic SEN Learning Support Assistant.
The successful candidate will provide support to pupils with SEND needs through a mixture of 1:1 support and small group interventions.
We are looking for candidates who;
• have previous experience as a SEN Learning Support Assistant or can demonstrate an understanding of the needs of the role;
• have previous experience and/or knowledge of strategies for supporting pupils with SEMH needs and/or ASD / ADHD;
• understand and show a commitment to safeguarding;
• care passionately about the wellbeing and progress of all children;
• are full of enthusiasm, warmth and energy;
• have a positive and empathetic outlook;
• can work well as part of a team;
• are well organised with good communication skills;
• will support the Christian ethos and values of the school.
