The Role
We are looking for a dedicated Year 6 Specialist Teacher to join this vibrant and welcoming school. You will play a key role in preparing students for their transition to secondary education, delivering engaging and high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons tailored to Year 6 students.
✔️ Prepare pupils for SATs and the transition to secondary school.
✔️ Foster a positive learning environment, encouraging confidence and independence.
✔️ Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
✔️ Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
What We're Looking For:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.
Experience teaching Year 6 or upper KS2 is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and assessment frameworks.
Commitment to maintaining high expectations for all pupils.
Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to school life.
