Our school in Slough is looking for a Nurture Teacher to join our team and provide therapeutic education and nurturing support for students with social, emotional, and mental health needs. Role Overview: As a Nurture Teacher, you will work with students who require extra emotional and educational support, creating a warm and safe environment where they can thrive. Your role will involve delivering tailored nurture-based interventions, focusing on building students’ social, emotional, and academic skills to help them succeed in school and beyond. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver individualized nurture-based lessons and interventions to students with SEMH needs. Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment that focuses on building students’ emotional resilience. Work closely with other staff, parents, and external agencies to implement support strategies and Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Monitor student progress and well-being, making adjustments to teaching strategies where necessary. Provide individual and group support to help students manage their emotions and behaviors.
