SEN Learning Support Assistant - Borehamwood, Hertfordshire

Position:
- Location: Near Borehamwood, Hertfordshire
- Role: SEN Learning Support Assistant
- Hours: Monday - Friday (09:00 - 16:00)
- Salary: £85 - £90 per day (inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay)
- Contract: Temp to Perm
Responsibilities:
- Build strong and supportive relationships with students, creating a positive learning environment.
- Encourage personal growth and foster positive behaviour.
- Support differentiated learning activities to help students achieve their potential.
- Assist the teacher with classroom operations and daily tasks.
- Adapt flexibly to meet the dynamic needs of the school.
- Support students' cognitive, emotional, and physical well-being.
Skills & Requirements:
- A strong academic background, with GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade 4 or above) preferred.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles.
- Previous experience supporting SEN learners is beneficial but not essential-enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key.
- A reliable means of commuting to Borehamwood, Hertfordshire (a full UK driving licence is advantageous).
- Full-time right to work in the UK is essential.
