ABOUT THIS ROLE Reporting to the Managing Director, you will need to be an expert in all FX risk management tools, including Spot, Forward, and Structured FX Options. As the Head of Risk Management and Sales, your primary duty is to provide the sales and dealing team with hedging strategies that meet our clients' needs. In addition to developing and recommending these strategies, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day requirements of a portfolio of high-value corporate trading clients. You will also hold and manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring they receive timely and professional support. Collaborating closely with the UK & EUR Corporate FX dealing team, you will ensure seamless operations and generate revenue through the execution of foreign exchange contracts. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Price and execute transactions with Xe’s approved liquidity providers. Manage Fenics on a day-to-day basis. Monitor positions and advise dealers of triggers and expiries of options and forwards. Collaborate with Finance and BI to ensure data quality and accurate reporting. Engage with Corporate teams in APAC & NAM to ensure global alignment across the Options business. Communicate daily strategies and timely information to the Corporate teams to keep them updated on market conditions. Educate dealers and clients on products and outcomes. Attend client meetings as required face to face and online. Submit credit requests to ensure limits align with client requirements. Work with the Head of Dealing and team to identify and execute opportunities within their portfolios. Manage MTM daily for all option clients, ensuring no credit breaches. Develop detailed reports to provide visibility for dealers and management of clients & Xe positions. Ensure all options are approved by compliance and client suitability is completed and accurate. Assist in managing relationships with Barclays & Deutsche. Maintain up-to-date records of client activities and requirements within the company’s internal systems. Ensure all customer interactions comply with regulatory requirements and HiFM policies and procedures. Implement provided training effectively. Manage retention levels to meet expected and targeted positions. Handle all client complaints professionally, escalating when necessary. Ensure quality assurance in all that we do. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Expertise in Risk Management Tools: Proficient in the mechanics of all risk management tools, including derivatives, with at least 5 years of experience in building FX trading strategies for corporate clients. Relevant Qualifications: Certified to sell Structured FX Options (derivatives) with qualifications such as CISI Level 3 Certificate in Securities and Level 3 Certificate in Derivatives. (Level 4 Diploma in Investment Advice is desirable but not essential). Regulatory Knowledge: Well-versed in the regulations governing derivatives products. Analytical Skills: Capable of analyzing, evaluating, and recommending products based on different client scenarios. Client Relationship Building: Skilled at building lasting relationships with clients to drive results. Engagement and Commitment: Actively engaged and committed to all aspects of the corporate division and company life. Relationship Management: Strong relationship management, customer service skills, and sales tenacity. Market Monitoring: Keen interest in and monitoring of financial markets. Communication and Attention to Detail: Excellent communication skills and a keen attention to detail.
