We are seeking an experienced and motivated Physics Teacher to join our Science Department teaching Physics to KS5 and Science KS3-KS4.
The Science department at Harrodian is driven by a team of passionate and talented individuals who are now seeking an equally committed Physics specialist to join us in September 2025. Whether with a few years of teaching under their belt or a seasoned professional seeking a fresh challenge, the successful candidate should be well-qualified, highly motivated and have an active interest in educational technology (EdTech).
With demonstrable experience in KS3 and KS4 science, and KS5 Physics, the ideal candidate will be innovative in their approach to lesson planning and delivery. In addition, there may be an opportunity for a TLR for the position of KS3 Science coordinator. If suitably qualified, the successful candidate will be invited to apply for this role.
We offer both AQA GCSE Separate Science and Combined Science Trilogy, as well as the AQA A-Level Biology, Chemistry and Physics courses. We are continually developing our range of teaching resources, including our tech-driven materials for the optimum use of student iPads within lessons. As a committed member of the team, the successful candidate will contribute to the planning, teaching and assessment within the department. The ability to communicate effectively and share new ideas is therefore essential. In addition, a commitment to delivering co-curricular Science and assisting with our key extended-curricular events, such as our annual Science Week and trips where students can develop their interests, is key.
